“Top Gun: Maverick” will once again fly into cinemas, this time in select theaters this Friday, December 2nd, on premium large format screens and IMAX for a two-week run.
The return is to highlight the film ahead of its debut on the Paramount+ streaming service on December 22nd in the U.S., Canada, Australia, Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Italy, the UK and Latin America.
“Top Gun: Maverick” boasts a 97% critics score, a 99% audience score and an A+ CinemaScore on Rotten Tomatoes, along with being the first movie ever to be #1 at the box office for both Memorial Day Weekend and Labor Day Weekend.
Chris Aronson, President of Domestic Distribution for Paramount Pictures says in a statement: “Top Gun: Maverick truly epitomizes the magic of the moviegoing experience, and we wanted to provide fans with the opportunity to once again enjoy this cinematic spectacle as it was meant to be seen. This feels like the perfect time to bring Top Gun: Maverick back to theaters so audiences everywhere can once again experience how special this film is.”
The film also stars Miles Teller, Jennifer Connelly, Jon Hamm, Glen Powell, Ed Harris and Val Kilmer.
