Tooley Productions has optioned Neil Strauss’ non-fiction book “Emergency: This Book Will Save Your Life” with plans to develop it as a comedic drama television series.
The story follows the journalist, concerned about the state of the world, who moved his family offshore and remade himself as a survivalist. He became a lock-picking, plane-flying, government-defying guy – putting him in proximity of shady lawyers, dangerous cult leaders, billionaire gun nuts and others on this ridiculous life path.
A search is underway for writer to pen the adaptation. Strauss and Tucker Tooley will executive produce.
