Following yesterday morning’s brief eight-second tease in close-up, the official Sony Pictures YouTube channel has now revealed a longer 22-second clip for “Spider-Man: Brand New Day”.
The clip shows actor Tom Holland, fully decked out (sans mask) in the new Spider-Man suit which he’ll be wearing in the film along with a glimpse at his hairstyle for the film.
The 29-year-old actor filmed his first scenes as Peter Parker in “Captain America: Civil War” ten years ago (Summer 2015) back when he was just 19 and so now looks understandably older.
The tease comes as filming on the project gets underway with action sequences being shot in Glasgow for the next few weeks ahead of the main shoot at Pinewood Studios in England.
Destin Daniel Cretton directs the film from a screenplay written by Chris McKenna and Erik Sommers.
Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also expected to return, while Mark Ruffalo is back as The Hulk, Michael Mando as Scorpion, Jon Bernthal as The Punisher, as well as Sadie Sink and Liza Colón-Zayas.
“Spider-Man: Brand New Day” is slated to arrive in theatres on July 31st 2026.
