Warner Bros. Pictures and Silver Pictures have picked up Colin Trevorrow’s time-travel thriller script “World War X” reports Variety.
The story follows a man recruited by a government agency to stop a terrorist from the future using time travel to change history.
Joel Silver and Andrew Rona are producing. Trevorrow and Derek Connolly sold an action comedy pitch earlier this year.
