Thomas Haden Church has joined the $5 million indie drama “Don McKay” for Animus Films reports Variety.
The story centers on a man haunted by a tragedy that forced him to flee his hometown 25 years earlier who returns when he finds his long-lost love is dying — and is then caught in a web of confusion, deceit and murder.
Jake Goldberger is directing from his own script. Elisabeth Shue, Melissa Leo, M. Emmet Walsh and Keith David co-star.
Shooting began last week west of Boston.
