Steven Soderbergh’s “Magic Mike’s Last Dance,” the third and final film in the ‘Mike’ trilogy, is ditching plans for a direct-to-HBO Max premiere and instead will be getting a theatrical release.
Warner Bros. Pictures has set a February 10th 2023 release date for the film – timed for Super Bowl weekend and a profitable one for actor Channing Tatum who has had success with “Dog” and “The Vow” in that release slot.
The first two “Magic Mike” films have grossed a combined $285.6 million at the global box office and spawned the successful stage show Magic Mike Live which has expanded internationally.
Salma Hayek, Caitlin Gerard and Gavin Spokes co-star in the film while Reid Carolin wrote the screenplay.
