GameMill Entertainment and AMC have announced “The Walking Dead: Destinies,” a third-person, narrative-driven action-adventure game set within the world of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” franchise.
Currently in development for all major platforms (Steam on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch), the game offers players choices to reshape the story of the show’s first four seasons.
Players start out in the role of Rick Grimes and visit key locations from the show such as the Greene farm, Woodbury, and Atlanta with the game developers saying players can “weave your own path through serires’ events”.
Certain key choices will see you determine who lives and who dies, those choices potentially shaking up how things played out on the TV series.
Over fifteen characters from the series are included such as Shane, Michonne, Carol, Daryl, Rick, and more – each with unique abilities. Players will have to manage resources, weapons, ammo and bases carefully in order to survive. Weapons will include revolvers, shotguns and katanas.
“The Walking Dead: Destinies” is expected to retail at $49.99.
