“The Vampire Lestat” Date Set, Opening Titles

AMC

AMC has officially set a June 7th 2026 premiere date for “The Vampire Lestat”.

The new run marks the third season of its acclaimed adaptation of Anne Rice’s “The Vampire Chronicles” novels, following the two seasons of “Interview with the Vampire” which aired in late 2022 and mid-2024, respectively.

Like that, this is expected to be the first of a two-season adaptation of the book, specifically the second book in the series, but will reportedly incorporate elements from all the books in the series.

While those first two seasons relied only on a title card, the new season is getting a full-blown 70-second title sequence that has just been released online (sans credits). Those credits use the song “All Fall Down” included in the trailer a few months back – a number composed by series composer Daniel Hart and sung by series star Sam Reid.

In the upcoming rock and roll-centric season, the Vampire Lestat goes on an electric multi-city tour while being haunted by ‘muses’ from his wild and rebellious past.

As his band’s popularity and star power rises, so does Lestat’s influence over vampires and humans alike, leaving others to contend with Lestat’s power in the face of the Great Conversion, an unnatural surge in the vampire population.

Also back are Jacob Anderson as Louis de Pointe du Lac, Assad Zaman as Armand, Eric Bogosian as Daniel Molloy, Delainey Hayles as Claudia and Justin Kirk as Raglan James. Jennifer Ehle also joins the cast.

Rolin Jones serves as creator and showrunner.
