A teaser trailer has been released for the upcoming revival series of ABC medical comedy “Scrubs”.
The original series ran for nine seasons from 2001-10 on NBC and later ABC with Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes, John C. McGinley, Robert Maschio and Phill Lewis returning for the revival along with series creator Bill Lawrence.
Set fifteen years later, JD (Braff) & Turk (Faison) scrub in together for the first time in a long time – medicine has changed, interns have changed, but their bromance has stood the test of time.
Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way. New cast members include Vanessa Bayer, Joel Kim Booster, Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, David Gridley, Layla Mohammadi and Amanda Morrow.
“Scrubs” alums Tim Hobert and Aseem Batra serve as executive producers and showrunners on the revival of the series with Braff, Faison, Chalke, Lawrence, Randall Winston, Jeff Ingold and Liza Katzer executive producing.
The “Scrubs” reboot will debut on February 25th and all episodes will be subsequently available to stream on Hulu.
