The PlayStation 5 Has Been Revealed

Sony’s big 75-minute PS5 presentation has just taken place with a first reveal of the console itself along with some major game title announcements and ton of original IP showed off – much of which involved female leads, robots and cats.

The biggest reveal came in last – the machine itself which is a white shell on black interior with an almost sail design. The console stands vertically but can also be laid horizontally, and will come in two versions – one digital only, the other with a disc. The latter is also confirmed to have 4K UHD Blu-ray playback.

The biggest sequel announcements were “Marvel’s Spider-Man: Miles Morales” coming Holiday 2020, “Hitman 3” arriving January 2021, BluePoint Games’ remaster of “Demons Souls”, a seventh “Gran Turismo,” an expanded and enhanced version of “Grand Theft Auto V,” the dimension-hopping “Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart,” a very ol’ British gothic influenced “Village: Resident Evil VIII” and the stunning looking “Horizon II: Forbidden West”.

There was also a ton of original IP on offer with a new Annapurna IP called “Stray” with cats and robots drawing a lot of attention. Here’s all the game trailers, and the official console reveal video:
