“The Odyssey” TV Spot Reveals Travis Scott

Universal Pictures

American rapper Travis Scott appears to have an onscreen role in Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey”.

The part was revealed during a new TV spot that aired during FOX’s NFL AFC championship game this weekend between the New England Patriots and the Denver Broncos.

Scott, who previously worked with Nolan on the end credits song for “Tenet” titled “The Plan,” is seen in what appears to be the banquet scene where Odysseus’ son Telemachus (Tom Holland) visits Spartan king Menelaus (Jon Bernthal) in search of his father.

Scott plays a character who tells the story of Odysseus’ exploits in Troy to the gathered crowd. The banquet scene was previously teased in the ‘year before’ teaser for the film back in July last year.

Neither Scott nor Universal Pictures has acknowledged the appearance, and/or whether his on-screen role belies a musical contribution to the film.

Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Elliot Page, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, Jon Bernthal, Mia Goth and Corey Hawkins co-star in “The Odyssey” which will be released in cinemas on July 17th 2026.
