“The Odyssey” Promo, Tickets On Sale Soon?

Universal Pictures International

Universal Pictures has premiered a new promo for Christopher Nolan’s “The Odyssey” ahead of the film’s premiere next month.

The promo is mostly close-ups of shots seen in the existing trailers combined with a rolling version of the logo and some foreboding music.

The promo comes as long time Nolan fan account Nolan Analyst claims they’ve received confirmation that IMAX tickets for the film will go on sale as early as this coming Thursday morning, while standard tickets will be released on June 9th. Universal Pictures, however, has not officially announced a ‘tickets on sale’ date as yet.

Previously, AMC revealed that the ancient Greek epic will clock in with a runtime of 172 minutes, Nolan’s second-longest film to date.

The film tells the story of Odysseus, King of Ithaca, and his perilous journey home after the Trojan War, exploring themes of heroism, loyalty, cunning, and the struggle against divine will.

It includes iconic episodes like his encounters with the Cyclops Polyphemus, the Sirens, and the witch-goddess Circe, culminating in his reunion with his wife, Penelope.

Matt Damon, Tom Holland, Anne Hathaway, Zendaya, Robert Pattinson, Lupita Nyong’o, Charlize Theron, Benny Safdie, Elliot Page, John Leguizamo, Himesh Patel, Bill Irwin, Jon Bernthal, Mia Goth and Corey Hawkins co-star.

“The Odyssey” will be released in cinemas on July 17th 2026.
