Sadly it appears that Pamela Anderson and Liam Neeson’s relationship teased throughout the publicity tour for “The Naked Gun” reboot was nothing more than that – a tease.
TMZ reports that the PR stunt of the pair acting so affectionate with one another and stirring talk of real-life romance was simply an idea thought up by their respective PR teams and Paramount for the press tour and roll out.
The outlet also adds that Anderson and Neeson barely saw each other in the one-year gap between the end of filming in June 2024 and the press tour beginning in July this year.
But wait a minute. In the wake of that report, People have done a follow-up with a source close to the film that claims that their relationship and affection is ‘genuine’:
“Everything between them has been genuine. Neither would ever take part in a publicity stunt. They have a great time. Neither of them needs the publicity. Their relationship isn’t just for show. They have a real connection. There’s no incentive for either of them to stage something like this.”
People’s source also calls the TMZ original article ‘ridiculous. The film itself will hit digital on Tuesday.
