Disney and Marvel Studios are swapping the release dates for two of their 2023 titles – “The Marvels” and “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania”.
Nia DaCosta’s “The Marvels,” a sequel to “Captain Marvel,” was previously dated for February 17th 2023 but will now move to July 28th 2023.
As a result Peyton Reed’s “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania,” the third film in that series which was set for that July 2023 release slot, has been moved up to February 17th.
The decision was made because “Ant-Man” is reportedly further along in the production process. That film will star Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lilly, Michael Douglas, Michelle Pfeiffer, Kathryn Newton and Jonathan Majors.
