“The Mandalorian” Wraps Season 2 Filming

Actress Gina Carano the other day revealed she had finished, and now cinematographer Baz Idoine has confirmed that shooting on the second season of “The Mandalorian” for Disney+ has completely wrapped filming.

Idoine shared a post of the final clapboard for an episode which Dave Filoni is directing, though it’s not confirmed to be the season finale as the episode is likely from earlier in the run.

In fact, Lucasfilm creative art manager pointed out in response to this photo that: “Just a reminder for you Star Wars speculators out there that TV episodes aren’t necessarily filmed in release order.”

Filoni made his live-action directorial debut on both the first and fifth episode of the show’s first season. At present Filoni, Jon Favreau, Bryce Dallas Howard and Carl Weathers are all expected to be helming at least one each of the new run of eight episodes.
