As it’s May the 4th, aka Star Wars Day, it comes as little surprise that Lucasfilm has unveiled a new promo trailer for “The Mandalorian and Grogu”.
The clip begins with footage from various classic “Star Wars” films with characters like Yoda, Rey, Luke Skywalker, Obi-Wan Kenobi, Qui-Gon Jin and Anakin Skywalker appearing.
It then transitions into a short promo trailer for the new “The Mandalorian and Grogu” film with clips from the first three seasons of the series, along with much of the last minute being footage from the new film.
In the film, the evil Empire has fallen, and Imperial warlords remain scattered throughout the galaxy.
As the fledgling New Republic works to protect everything the Rebellion fought for, they have enlisted the help of legendary Mandalorian bounty hunter Din Djarin (Pedro Pascal) and his young apprentice Grogu.”
Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White also star in the Jon Favreau-directed film, which he, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni, and Ian Bryce produce.
All three seasons of “The Mandalorian” are on Disney+, while “The Mandalorian and Grogu” hits cinemas and IMAX on May 22nd.
