Apple TV+ and Hello Sunshine have premiered the trailer for its latest series “The Last Thing He Told Me” based on the 2021 book of the same name by Laura Dave.

Jennifer Garner stars as Hannah, a woman who must figure out why her husband (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) suddenly and mysteriously disappeared without any prior indication of problems.

She soon finds she must forge a relationship with her sixteen-year-old stepdaughter Bailey (Angourie Rice) who has been seemingly left to fend for herself.

Aisha Tyler, Augusto Aguilera, Geoff Stults, and John Harlan Kim co-star. The book has sold almost two million copies in the United States alone in the past two years, was on the New York Times bestseller list for more than a year, and won several awards.

“Where The Crawdads Sing” helmer Olivia Newman directed the pilot and additional episodes, with Deniz Gamze Erguven, Daisy Von Scherler Mayer, and Lila Neugebauer also helming several episodes. The series was co-created by Academy Award winner Josh Singer.

Dave, Singer, Garner, Lauren Neustadter, and Reese Witherspoon produce the series which launches on Apple TV+ with two episodes on April 14th and subsequent weekly episodes will run until May 19th.
