One of the few industries that seems to have been mostly unaffected by the global pandemic has been the video game industry.
Sure some conventions have been cancelled, but game releases have so far continued without a lot of issue as numerous titles like “Doom Eternal” and “Final Fantasy VII Remake” hit shelves.
Now though, the crisis has hit one of the most anticipated titles of the year – Naughty Dog’s “The Last of Us Part II”. Originally slated for a May 29th release, the game has now been delayed indefinitely.
Sony Interactive Entertainment has also announced that Marvel’s “Iron Man VR” has also been pulled from i ts original May 15th release date. Sony says “logistically, the global crisis is preventing us from providing the launch experience our players deserve.”
