Hulu’s period dark comedy “The Great” has been renewed for a third season of ten episodes. The show premiered its second season in its entirety in November and it remains one of the streamer’s top-performing original comedies.
That second season saw Catherine (Elle Fanning) finally taking the Russian throne for her own from her husband (Nicholas Hoult). She soon battles her court, her team, and even her own mother (Gillian Anderson) in a bid to bring enlightenment to Russia.
Phoebe Fox, Adam Godley, Gwilym Lee, Charity Wakefield, Douglas Hodge, Sacha Dhawan, Bayo Gbadamosi, and Belinda Bromilow co-star.
Also today, ABC has renewed its primetime medical drama “Grey’s Anatomy” for a nineteenth season with star Ellen Pompeo set to return as Meredith Grey.
In addition, the Grey’s spinoff series “Station 19” has been renewed for a sixth season. Krista Vernoff will continue to oversee both series as showrunner.
