Swedish novelist Kerstin Ekman has penned her first original feature script “Wolf” reports Variety.
“Wolf” stars Peter Stormare, most recently seen in FOX’s “Prison Break” series, as a reindeer handler and looks at how the traditions of the Sami people collide with the demands of modern day society.
Daniel Alfredson, who adaptated Ekman’s book “The Death Bell” into a TV movie, will helm. Anthony Minghella tried, without success, to develop Ekman’s novel “Darkwater” into a feature some years ago.
