“The Flash” Teases Oliver Queen’s Return

The CW

The final season of The CW’s “The Flash” is unrolling, and today The CW has dropped the trailer for the show’s ninth episode – dubbed the big ‘event’ episode of the season.

The episode titled “It’s My Party and I’ll Die If I Want To” serves as something of an epilogue to the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” crossover event and will see the return of several guest stars.

The biggest, without question, is Stephen Amell reprising his Oliver Queen/Green Arrow role and can be seen hugging Grant Gustin’s Barry Allen as they team up to save the universe.

Other guest stars for the episode include David Ramsey as John Diggle, Keiynan Lonsdale as Wally West/Kid Flash and Sendhil Ramamurthy as Ramsey Rosso/Bloodwork.

The season runs for thirteen episodes and will see further Arrowverse characters return, including Jessica Parker Kennedy as Nora West-Allen, Teddy Sears as Hunter Zolomon/Zoom, Rick Cosnett as Eddie Thawne, Matt Letscher as Eobard Thawne/Reverse-Flash and John Wesley Shipp as Henry Allen/Jay Garrick.

The season’s eighth episode aired tonight, with the series taking a two-week break before returning with that ninth episode on April 26th. It will kick off the final run of five episodes culminating in the series finale on May 24th.
