Warner Bros. Pictures and DC teased the upcoming “The Flash” film starring Ezra Miller as Barry Allen/The Flash and appearances by Ben Affleck and Michael Keaton as Bruce Wayne/Batman.
The biggest reveal was concept art showcasing the new outfit Miller will wear in the film which will explore “the juxtaposition between [the Flash’s] vulnerability and his immense power”. Keaton’s Batman, with his original design Batsuit, is also in the art.
The new and more comics-accurate outfit is designed by Bruce Wayne in the feature which will introduce the concept of the multiverse to the big screen – allowing various iterations of DC heroes from both the big and small screen to interact in one narrative adventure.
Screenwriter Christina Hodson says: “All of these stories and characters can start to collide. The cinematic multiverse is going to be borne out of this movie.”
Andy Muschietti helms the film which is currently targeting a 2022 release.
