Aside from all the “Fallout 4” news, the next biggest announcement at Bethesda Softworks’ E3 presentation this year was confirmation of a “Dishonored” sequel being in the works.
The news came complete with a stylish trailer that confirms that not only do you reprise the role of Corvo from the first game, but you can also play as a now grown up version of the young girl Emily Kaldwin.
The new game boasts a grappling hook device, but otherwise sticks with the acclaimed first game’s approach of an open world where you can choose between a full stealth approach that doesn’t require you hurting anyone, to a full combat approach where you can just basically kill everything.
The game wasn’t dated sadly but it’s likely a late 2016 game at the earliest. It will be coming to the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
They’ve also announced that a Definitive Edition of the first game will hit stores on August 25th and will be available only for PS4 and Xbox One. It will include all the DLC – The Dunwall City Trials, The Knife of Dunwall, and The Brigmore Witches.
