Comedy Central is reportedly considering hosting duos and trios as it looks to replace comedian Trevor Noah behind the desk on “The Daily Show”.
Noah’s final show is planned for Thursday December 8th and there’s been plenty of talk about who will replace him since he first announced his exit.
A new suggestion that has arisen is that Noah will be replaced by a committee of hosts with a number of the correspondents in consideration for the positions such as a potential Roy Wood Jr. and Desi Lydic co-hosting setup.
Ronny Chieng, Michael Kosta, Dulcé Sloan and Jordan Klepper are also correspondents on the series. A co-hosting setup would be unique in the daily late-night television landscape and offer a fresh approach.
No final decision has reportedly been made but numerous options are on the table.
