“The Crown” Wraps Season 4 Early

Netflix’s award-winning historical drama “The Crown” has been able to successfully wrap production on its fourth season a few days earlier than scheduled.

The production company chose to keep production rolling for another week in order to tie up some loose threads before heading into full post-production. This makes them one of the last productions to shut down to the ongoing concerns over the pandemic.

The fourth season will take place across much of the 70s and into the early 80s, with Gillian Anderson to play Margaret Thatcher while Emerald Fennell portrays Camilla Parker Bowles. Olivia Colman, Tobias Menzies, Josh O’Connor and Erin Doherty all return.

The first three seasons are available to stream now on Netflix.
