Netflix has released a new teaser photo from the sixth season of its royal drama “The Crown,” this one teasing Prince Charles’ second royal wedding – this time to Camilla Parker Bowles.
The photo shows a shot of an order of service from the event which happened back in April 2005 at Windsor Guildhall. The final season covers a fairly large span of time as the new run will include the death of Princess Diana back in 1997 as well.
Previously actress Claudia Harrison, who plays Princess Anne, reportedly revealed that the wedding was the final scene the cast shot. That scene was filmed at York Minster Cathedral in England.
A synopsis for the season also teases the next generation: “Prince William starts at University in St Andrew’s determined to lead as normal a life as possible while he still can. Also beginning life as a University student is Kate Middleton from Berkshire. As the pair meet for the first time on campus, a new romance and a new future for The Crown begins.”
The sixth season cast includes Imelda Staunton as Queen Elizabeth II, Lesley Manville as Princess Margaret, Jonathan Pryce as Prince Philip, Elizabeth Debicki as Princess Diana, Dominic West as Prince Charles, Olivia Williams as Camilla Parker Bowles, Khalid Abdalla as Dodi Fayed, Bertie Carvel as Tony Blair, Ed McVey as Prince William and Luther Ford as Prince Harry.
The final season of “The Crown” airs later this year.
