MTV’s “Teen Wolf” actors and identical twin brothers Max and Charlie Carver have been added to the cast of Matt Reeves’ currently in production “The Batman” film at Warner Bros. Pictures.
AV Club broke the story, and also indicate their roles are said to be ‘sizable’ but haven’t indicated who they are. In DC Comics canon, the most likely possibility would be as Tweedledum and Tweedledee – the right hand henchman of mind-controlling scientist Jervis Tetch (aka. The Mad Hatter).
Hatter has been rumored to appear in the film but hasn’t yet been confirmed or cast. David Wayne played him in the 1960s live-action series, Roddy McDowall played him in the 1990s animated series, Peter MacNicol took on the role in the ‘Arkham’ video games, while Benedict Samuel played a much darker version of him on “Gotham”.
“The Batman” is set to open June 25th 2021 and stars Robert Pattinson as Bruce Wayne; Zoe Kravitz as Selina Kyle, Paul Dano as Edward Nashton, Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon, John Turturro as Carmine Falcone, Peter Sarsgaard as Gotham D.A. Gil Colson, Jayme Lawson as Bella Real, Andy Serkis as Alfred and Colin Farrell as Oswald Cobblepot.
