“The Blacklist” Loses Two Regulars

The Blacklist Loses Two Regulars
NBC

Actors Amir Arison and Laura Sohn are departing NBC’s “The Blacklist” which just wrapped its ninth season tonight. Both will exit with that season finale.

Arison has played tech-savvy FBI Agent Aram Mojtabi from the show’s beginning and has become something of a fan favorite. Sohn has been onboard as Agent Alina Park for the past three seasons – first as recurring, more recently as a regular.

Arison, who will make his Broadway debut this summer in “The Kite Runner,” could return for guest appearances in the show’s tenth season though as the door remains open. His exit comes a year after original female lead Megan Boone exited the show in the eighth season finale.

It also leaves only four regulars still involved from the first season – James Spader as Raymond Reddington, Diego Klattenhoff as Donald Ressler, Harry Lennix as Harold Cooper and Hisham Tawfiq as Dembe Zuma.

Last night’s finale set the scene for the tenth season as Chin Han, reprising his first season role of Wujing, escapes prison and learns that Red is actually an FBI informant responsible for his imprisonment. He sets out to recruit other Blacklisters to take down Reddington.
