A cut down version of History Channel’s record-breaking ten-part miniseries “The Bible” could be coming to movie theaters.
Executive producer Mark Burnett says: “We’re cutting a movie version right now, a three-hour version of Jesus and [we have] many, many offers from theaters globally”.
The film version, aiming to hit late this year, is said to have a big focus on the Resurrection. Burnett adds that more stories will be told if further “The Bible”-related mini-series go ahead.
The mini-series debuted to 13.1 million viewers on March 3rd.
