“The Batman: Part II” Script Handed In

Warner Bros. Pictures

Finally, after many months of speculation over what’s taking so long, the script for Matt Reeves’ “The Batman Part II” has been handed in to Warner Bros. Pictures.

Reeves himself broke the news on social media, posting a photo of the completed script alongside a photo of himself and co-writer Mattson Tomlin.

Tomlin contributed uncredited rewrites to the 2022 first film but is now considered a full-time co-writer this time around.

DC Studios chief previously teased that the script was due this month at the studio, and it appears Reeves made that deadline.

Production is on track for an early 2026 start ahead of the film’s planned opening on October 1st 2027.

Robert Pattinson is set to return while the likes of Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, Andy Serkis, and Colin Farrell are all expected back.
