Netflix has handed out a green light for the sequel to the horror-comedy feature “The Babysitter” with much of the original cast returning.
Bella Thorne, Robbie Amell, Hana Mae Lee, Andrew Bachelor, Judah Lewis, Emily Alyn Lind, Ken Marino, Leslie Bibb, Carl McDowell, and Chris Wylde are all set to reprise their roles for the sequel with original director McG also set to return. The key role that’s not certain to be returning at this point is Samara Weaving, who played the evil Babysitter in the first film.
Set two years after Cole (Lewis) defeated a satanic cult led by his babysitter, he tries to forget his past and focus on surviving high school. When old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil.
“American Vandal” showrunner Dan Lagana is scripting and will be executive produced by Steven Bello, Corey Marsh, Brian Duffield, Alex Boies, Tyler Zacharia, and Devin Andre.
