David Paterson will adapt his mother Katherine’s upcoming fantasy novel “The Flint Heart” into a film script for Bedrock Studios and Arcady Bay Entertainment says Variety.
Stretching from the Stone Age to contemporary England, the action follows a magical amulet that brings power and despair to those who touch it. The project will be a live-action film but “special effects driven”.
Paterson also adapted his mother’s novel “Bridge to Terabithia” into a successful family film for Disney and Walden Media.
