Sony Pictures Animation has released a series of ten character posters for the highly anticipated “Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” which hits cinemas next week.
The posters spotlight ten key characters – Miles Morales, Miguel O’Hara/Spider-Man 2099, Gwen Stacy, Peter B. Parker, Jessica Drew/Spider-Woman, Pavitr Prabhakar/Spider-Man India, Hobart Brown/Spider-Punk, Ben Reilly/Scarlet Spider, Spider-Cat, and the villain The Spot.
After Miles Morales reunites with Gwen Stacy, Brooklyn’s full-time, friendly neighborhood Spider-Man is catapulted across the Multiverse, where he encounters a team of Spider-People charged with protecting its very existence.
But when the heroes clash over handling a new threat, Miles finds himself pitted against the other Spiders and must redefine what it means to be a hero to save the people he loves most.
The film is the first of a two-parter, and the voice cast includes Shameik Moore, Hailee Steinfeld, Oscar Isaac, Jake Johnson, Issa Rae, Daniel Kaluuya, Karan Soni and Jason Schwartzman.
Joaquim Dos Santos, Kemp Powers, and Justin K. Thompson direct this follow-up to 2018’s “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” while Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Amy Pascal, Avi Arad, and Christina Steinberg with Alonzo Ruvalcaba produce.
“Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse” will open in cinemas on June 2nd.
