Ted Lasso’s Juno Temple Joins “Venom 3”

Emmy-nominated “Ted Lasso” star Juno Temple, who plays Keeley Jones on that Apple TV+ comedy series, is negotiating to co-star in a third “Venom” film for Marvel and Sony Pictures.

Deadline broke the news, and specifics of who Temple will be playing are being kept under wraps. Temple rose to fame in the late 2000s with a series of roles in British films like “Notes on a Scandal,” “Atonement” and “The Other Boleyn Girl”.

She appeared in various supporting roles over the years in films and series like “The Dark Knight Rises,” “Maleficent,” “Black Mass,” “Vinyl” and “Dirty John” before a big-time breakthrough in “Ted Lasso”. Her casting comes that show is in the midst of airing its third and final season.

Tom Hardy is set to return as the titular character in “Venom 3” with the series long time writer Kelly Marcel taking over as director – taking over from Ruben Fleischer on the first and Andy Serkis on the second.

Plot details are unknown other than Hardy returning to the role he played in the first two films, which have pulled in a combined $1.36 billion worldwide.

Marcel and Hardy will also produce, with Marcel writing the screenplay from a story by Marcel and Hardy. Avi Arad, Matt Tolmach, Amy Pascal, and Hutch Parker are also producing.

Temple will also be seen in the upcoming fifth season of the hit FX anthology series “Fargo” which is about to wrap production.
