Apple TV has premiered the teaser trailer for the second season of its Monsterverse series “Monarch: Legacy of Monsters” which returns on February 27th.
The ten-episode second season will pick up with the fate of Monarch – and the world – hanging in the balance.
The dramatic saga reveals buried secrets that reunite our heroes (and villains) on Kong’s Skull Island, and a new, mysterious village where a mythical Titan rises from the sea.
The ripple effects of the past make waves in the present day, blurring the bonds between family, friend and foe — all with the threat of a Titan event on the horizon.
Anna Sawai, Kurt Russell, Wyatt Russell, Kiersey Clemons, Ren Watabe, Mari Yamamoto, Joe Tippett, and Anders Holm star, while Amber Midthunder joins the cast of the new season.
Chris Black and Matt Fraction created the series and serve as showrunners and executive producers alongside Joby Harold, Tory Tunnell, Matt Shakman, Andrew Colville, and Jen Roskind.
One new episode will stream on Apple TV every Friday until May 1st.
