Disney has premiered the teaser trailer for the sixth “Ice Age” film, “Ice Age: Boiling Point,” which opens on February 5th 2027.
Franchise stars Ray Romano, John Leguizamo, Denis Leary, and Queen Latifah return as Manny the woolly mammoth, Sid the ground sloth, Diego the saber-tooth tiger, and Ellie the woolly mammoth respectively.
Also back is Simon Pegg as Buck the one-eyed weasel, while the other voice cast includes Josh Peck, Seann William Scott, Keke Palmer, Wanda Sykes, Nick Offerman, Jennifer Lopez, Peter Dinklage, and Josh Gad.
Plot specifics are under wraps. John Donkin directs from a script by Michael Wilson, Michael Berg, and Yoni Brenner. Lori Forte returns to produce the sequel.
The previous five films, released between 2002 and 2016, have earned a combined worldwide gross of $3.2 billion.
