Teaser Trailer: “House of Lee” Anime Series

A teaser trailer has been released by Bruce Lee Entertainment for “House of Lee,” the first-ever Bruce Lee anime project, which will premiere in 2024 on the content platform Shibuya.

The news is timed with the 50th anniversary of the release of the martial arts classic “Enter the Dragon” this month – the film which propelled Bruce Lee to international stardom.

The trailer will be included with the special 4K UHD screenings of “Enter the Dragon” in over 650 cinemas on Sunday, August 13th and Wednesday, August 16th. An introduction to ‘Enter’ by film historian Leonard Maltin is also being included at said screenings.

In the action/fantasy series, Bruce Lee fights to assemble his Dragon Warriors before the world plunges too far into darkness and shadow.

Lee’s daughter, Shannon Lee, was inspired by personal experiences to create the story behind the series. In a press release, she says:

“Anime is an amazing medium for telling a truly creative story where Bruce Lee can be Bruce Lee, she said. “I’m so excited for the possibilities for action, fantasy, history, culture, and creativity within this medium.”

Shibuya, its co-founder and artist Emily Yang, and Bruce Lee Entertainment have been able to produce the project independently.
