Paramount+ has premiered the first look teaser trailer for Taylor Sheridan’s upcoming “Yellowstone” limited series spin-off “1923” starring Harrison Ford and Helen Mirren.
The new series is set to run for two seasons of eight episodes each and explores the West of the early 20th century. It’s a time when pandemics, historic drought, Prohibition and the Great Depression plagued the frontier that the Duttons call home.
Ford plays Jacob Dutton, brother of the character Tim McGraw played in “1883”. Brandon Sklenar, Darren Mann, Michelle Randolph, James Badge Dale, Marley Shelton, Brian Geraghty, Aminah Nieves, Julia Schlaepfer and Jerome Flynn co-star.
The clip premiered as part of the fifth season launch of “Yellowstone” last night. A third spin-off, the present-day Texas-set titled “6666,” is also in development.
“1923” is executive produced by Sheridan, John Linson, Art Linson, David C. Glasser, Ron Burkle, David Hutkin, Bob Yari and Ben Richardson. The series will debut on December 18th on the Paramount+ service.
