Teaser Trailer: Apple’s “Silo” Sci-Fi Series

As one post-apocalyptic series ends on HBO, another is about to begin – this time over on the Apple TV+ service with “Silo”.

This is the story of the last ten thousand people on Earth and their mile-deep home protecting them from the toxic and deadly world outside. No one knows when or why the silo was built and any who try to find out face fatal consequences.

Rebecca Ferguson stars as Juliette, an engineer, who seeks answers about a loved one’s murder and tumbles onto a mystery that goes far deeper than she could have ever imagined – leading her to discover that if the lies don’t kill you, the truth will.

The cast includes Common, Harriet Walter, Chinaza Uche, Avi Nash , David Oyelowo, Rashida Jones, and Tim Robbins with the project hailing from creator and showrunner Graham Yost who is best known for serving in those capacities on FX’s “Justified”.

The new series was previously known as “Wool” in production due to it being based on the first book of thw ten-book ‘Silo’ series by Hugh Howey.

The first three episodes of “Silo” are directed by “The Imitation Game” helmer Morten Tyldum and the series is set to debut on the Apple TV+ service on May 5th.
