Netflix has announced a September 23rd release date on its service for the Marilyn Monroe biopic “Blonde” starring “Knives Out” and “No Time to Die” actress Ana de Armas.
Hailing from celebrated “Chopper,” “The Assassination of Jesse James” and “Killing Them Softly” director Andrew Dominik, the project is based on the bestselling novel by Joyce Carol Oates.
The story reimagines the complicated life of Monroe, blurring the lines of fact and fiction, as it explores the tension between her public and private life.
