Peacock released the teaser trailer for the new espionage thriller series “The Copenhagen Test” starring Marvel alum Simu Liu and “Scream” star Melissa Barrera.
Liu plays Alexander Hale, a first-generation Chinese-American intelligence analyst who realises his brain has been hacked, giving the perpetrators access to everything he sees and hears.
Caught between his shadowy agency and the unknown hackers, he must maintain a performance 24/7 to flush out who’s responsible and prove where his allegiance lies.
Sinclair Daniel, Brian D’Arcy James, Mark O’Brien, and Kathleen Chalfant also star.
The series was created by co-showrunner and writer Thomas Brandon (“Legacies”) while Jennifer Yale (“See,” “Outlander”) also serves as co-showrunner and writer.
Liu, Brandon, Yale, James Wan, Rob Hackett, Mark Winemaker and Jet Wilkinson serve as executive producers. The series will premiere on December 27th.
