Following their previous collaboration on this year’s “Black Bird” series, actor Taron Egerton, author Dennis Lehane and Apple TV+ are re-teaming for the drama series “Firebug”.
The story will follow a troubled detective and an enigmatic arson investigator (Egerton) as they pursue the trails of two serial arsonists. The series is inspired by some of the true events presented in Truth Media’s “Firebug” podcast.
The project is being developed, written and executive produced by Lehane with Egerton, Richard Plepler, Bradley Thomas and Dan Friedkin, Kary Antholis and Marc Smerling executive producing.
Egerton will soon be seen in the “Tetris” film at Apple TV+ and “Carry-On” at Netflix.
