Tahouri To Compose “Avengers” Game Score

Bobby Tahouri has been hired to handle the score for the upcoming “Marvel’s Avengers” video game.

Tahouri has been working in music departments of major projects for nearly two decades, providing additional music or composing scores for shows like “Game of Thrones,” “Shimmer and Shine” and “Into the West” and films like “Iron Man,” “Clash of the Titans” and “Disturbia”.

In gaming he composed the scores for 2014’s “Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark” and most notably 2015’s highly acclaimed “Rise of the Tomb Raider” which hails from developer Crystal Dynamics who are the ones making the new “Avengers” game.

Tahouri says: “What made composing for Marvel’s Avengers so special is that I got to write music for so many unique superheroes, all in one game. After coming up with one Avengers theme, I designed a palette of sounds and instruments specific to each superhero.”

The game begins at A-Day, where Captain America, Iron Man, the Hulk, Black Widow, and Thor are unveiling a hi-tech Avengers Headquarters in San Francisco – including the reveal of their own helicarrier powered by an experimental energy source.

The celebration turns deadly when a catastrophic accident results in massive devastation. Blamed for the tragedy, the Avengers disband. Five years later, with all Super Heroes outlawed and the world in peril, the only hope is to reassemble Earth’s Mightiest Heroes.

“Marvel’s Avengers” hits Xbox One X, Stadia, and PC on September 4th and both PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X later in 2020.
