Syfy’s Comic-Con@Home panel has released the first trailer for its series reimagining of George A. Romero’s “Day of the Dead”. The series has also set an October launch, but no specific date has been set.
‘Dead’ follows six strangers as they attempt to survive the first 24 hours of a zombie invasion and is “inspired by” the third of Romero’s ‘Dead’ films, though seemingly bears little resemblance to it beyond name only.
Keenan Tracey, Natalie Malaika, Daniel Doheny, Kristy Dinsmore and Morgan Holmstrom star in the series which has Steven Kostanski (“The Void”) directing the first four episodes.
