Hot on the heels of the announcement of her starring in a new “Barbarella,” “Euphoria” actress Sydney Sweeney is also attached to star in and produce an adaptation of Marcus Kliewer’s short story “The Caretaker” at Universal Pictures.
Karl Gajdusek is adapting the script which follows a young woman who accepts a caretaking job from Craigslist and quickly discovers her responsibilities have stakes far greater – and more dangerous – than she ever could have imagined.
Sweeney, Jonathan Davino, Michael Bay, Brad Fuller and Scott Glassgold will produce. Sweeney also remains attached to “The Registration” film and will produce “The Players Table” for TV.
