Timed for the Thanksgiving holiday and Black Friday sales, numerous SVOD services are offering discounts and extended trials in an effort to draw in new customers.

Disney is offering new and eligible returning customers one year of ad-supported Hulu for 99c per month (via this link) – an 86% discount.

Universal is offering 50% of the first six months of Peacock Premium, dropping the rate down to $2.49 per month (via use of the discount code ‘TODAY’). Peacock’s ‘Premium’ tier has full access to Peacock’s content, but also contains ads.

ViacomCBS is offering one month of its Paramount+ premium plan (normally $9.99) for free. Discovery+ is offering a deal of 99c per month for three months (click here). AMC+ is offering $1.99 a month for a year (click here). Shudder can be had for $1.99 a month as an add on to an AMC+ plan (click here).

One platform offering multiple deals is Amazon Prime Video which is set to let members score discounts across numerous services ordered through it such as Starz and Showtime offering two months at 99c each through their Amazon channels.

Another is by signing up for Amazon Music Unlimited ($7.99 per month), you can get six free months of the Disney+ service (click here).

Some of these offers may only apply for new subscribers, and all seemingly revert to regular prices after a period. All are aiming to catch new sign-ups and those who ‘surf’ services – moving from one to the next.
