“Superman & Lois” Season 3 Trailer & Poster

The CW

The CW has released a one-minute trailer and new one-sheet for the upcoming third season of the acclaimed series “Superman and Lois” which returns to the network on March 14th.

The series sees a casting change this year with Australian actor Michael Bishop stepping into the role of Jonathan Kent following the sudden exit of Jordan Elsass.

The fifteen-episode third season opens weeks after Superman’s blowout defeat of Ally Allston and sees the Man of Steel facing off against Intergang head Bruno Manheim (The Expanse’s Chad L. Coleman).

The trailer also indicates Lois believes she might be pregnant with a third child, and Superman can be seen saving Lois from a collapsing Daily Planet building in what looks like some sort of vision.

Main cast members all returning include Tyler Hoechlin, Elizabeth Tulloch, Alex Garfin, Erik Valdez, Inde Navarrette, Wolé Parks, Dylan Walsh, Emmanuelle Chriqui, Taylor Buck, and Sofia Hasmik. In addition, Michael Cudlitz has been announced to portray this Earth’s version of Lex Luthor.

During the announcement of their DC Studios plans, James Gunn and Peter Safran indicated they had no desire to end the series just yet and with Gunn’s “Superman Flyby” film not due out until mid-2025, the show has the potential for a fourth season next year should The CW’s new owners Nexstar wish to do one.
