“Supergirl,” He-Man & “Tomb” Trailer Talk

Warner Bros. Pictures

DC Studios confirmed that the first trailer for “Supergirl” launches this week with Thursday still looking to be the most likely launch time for the clip (the studio still isn’t announcing a specific date).

The trailer has been screened for select press and a description of the footage has already started circling with CBM indicating that the clip includes brief shots of Jason Momoa’s Lobo walking down a hallway, and a brief appearance of Matthias Schoenarts’ Krem of the Yellow Hills villain.

The trailer reportedly opens with Krypto peeing on a newspaper with Superman on the cover and a montage with Kara and Ruthye travelling across the galaxy. The final shot is claimed to be her in full costume, fighting enemies aboard a massive space battleship.

That’s not the only trailer news. He-Mania reports that multiple insiders are confirming the teaser trailer for the live-action “Masters of the Universe” is coming this week.

Both films were originally rumoured to have trailer launches at CCXP this past weekend, though those reports never panned out. “Supergirl” opens in cinemas on June 26th 2026, “Masters of the Universe” opens on June 5th 2026.

Finally, VGC reports that a “look at the future” of the “Tomb Raider” game franchise will be revealed at The Game Awards on Thursday.

Amazon’s “Tomb Raider” TV series hasn’t started filming yet, so it is unlikely to be related to that. More likely is something tied to Crystal Dynamics and their next major game in the franchise, which began development in Unreal Engine 5 back in early 2022.
