Ahead of the Superbowl on Sunday, Paramount Pictures has released its Big Game spot for their “Sonic the Hedgehog” sequel.
Ben Schwartz reprises the voice of Sonic alongside Colleen O’Shaughnessey as Tails and Idris Elba joining the cast as Knuckles. On the human front, Jim Carrey also returns as Dr. Ivo ‘Eggman’ Robotnik while James Marsden, Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Adam Pally, Shemar Moore, Lee Majdoub also star.
After settling in Green Hills, Sonic is eager to prove he has what it takes to be a true hero. His test comes when Dr. Robotnik returns, this time with a new partner, Knuckles, in search of an emerald that has the power to destroy civilizations.
“Sonic the Hedgehog 2” is scheduled for release in cinemas on April 8th.
