Paramount Pictures has premiered the Big Game spot for “Transformers: Rise of the Beasts” ahead of the film’s theatrical release on June 9th 2023.
The spot shows off plenty of footage from the film, but seems to be a tie-in with Porsche over their Porsche 911 Carrera RS 3.8 model. Consequently there’s a lot of focus on that particular brand of car and an Autobot character named Mirage who turns into one.
The film is set in the 1990s and is described as a globetrotting adventure that introduces the Maximals, Predacons, and Terrorcons to the existing battle on Earth between Autobots and Decepticons.
Anthony Ramos plays Noah, an ex-military electronics expert who lives with and supports his family in Brooklyn, while Dominque Fishback plays Elena, an artifact researcher at a museum.
They lead the cast in the live-action roles in this entry inspired by the popular Beast Wars property. Ron Perlman, Michelle Yeoh and Peter Cullen lend their voices to the transformers.
Steven Caple Jr. helms the film which boasts action that spans from Brooklyn to Peru.
